10.57am 13th March 2025 - <a href="https://golfbusinessnews.com/news/sponsorship-and-events/">Sponsorship & Events</a> <br>Swedish apparel brand <a href="https://www.jlindeberg.com/en-gb/collections/golf">J.Lindeberg</a> has announced the addition of Taiwanese player Kevin Yu to its roster of tour ambassadors. <br>Yu, 26, has rapidly ascended the professional golf ranks, capturing his first PGA Tour victory at the Sanderson Farms Championship in 2024. He is currently 76th in the OWGR. <br>Yu’s journey began in Taoyuan, Taiwan, where he revealed his talent early on by winning a gold medal at the 2013 Asian Youth Games. He further refined his skills at Arizona State University, achieving three individual collegiate titles before turning professional in 2021.<br>“Joining J.Lindeberg feels like a natural fit for me and I’m excited for what we can achieve together,” said Yu, who will play in the brand’s latest golf collection at The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass this week. “To succeed in this sport, you have to be willing to push limits, challenge expectations and continuously evolve both on and off the course – and J.Lindeberg shares that same drive.”<br>J.Lindeberg has expanded its golf ambassador roster in 2025 to include PGA TOUR players Matthieu Pavon and Niklas Nørgaard, LPGA Tour player Yealimi Noh, golf influencer Mia Baker and American actress Kathryn Newton.<br>“Kevin’s dedication and performance really align with our ethos of bridging sport and fashion,” says Hans-Christian Meyer, CEO of J.Lindeberg. “We’re thrilled to welcome him to our ambassador family during this exciting time of expansion.”<br>Former PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem has received the PGA TOUR Lifetime Achievement Award, the 14th time the accolade has been awarded and the first since 2015. <br>From the moment James Bledge took over as Links Manager at Royal Liverpool Golf Club, it was all eyes on preparation for the 151st Open Championship.
