9.01am 22nd January 2025 - <a href="https://golfbusinessnews.com/news/corporate/">Corporate</a> <br><a href="https://intuitiveedgemarketing.com/">Intuitive Edge</a> is proud to mark its 10-year anniversary with a record breaking year, marking a decade of sales and marketing innovation across the golf industry.<br>As two 24 year old golfers working at golf clubs on the south coast, Harry Boyd and Brandon Trimmer set out with a plan – to break the mould.<br>Since then, Intuitive Edge has supported countless golf clubs across 3 continents, managed digital marketing for multiple DP World Tour venues<strong>, </strong>and more recently launched its membership sales service with its in-house sales team converting more than £1 million in membership subscriptions already.<br>‘It all started on the proviso from one of the world’s most recognised estates that we’d have a contract to manage the digital marketing of its golf course.’ Says Brandon, Co-Founder of Intuitive Edge. ‘I’ll never forget getting the news at the Crown and Anchor in Del Quay. It was so exciting! I quit my delivery job that week, only for us to be told a few weeks later that “you’re not ready, it won’t work”. It was a kick in the teeth, and an early lesson in business…’<br>Luckily, shortly after the initial setback, and thanks to the intro of Kim Wild from Women & Golf magazine, Enfield Golf Club met with (what Kim still refers to as) ‘the boys’ and saw the potential in what they had to offer. They gave them a shot at managing the club’s marketing and it was a resounding success.<br>A few years later they were working with the likes of Royal Ashdown Forest and Abu Dhabi Golf Club, delivering marketing seminars to the AGMS Golf Management degree at the University of Birmingham, and Intuitive Edge went on to become the marketing partner for the UK Golf Federation.<br>Brandon continues ’We took a walk down memory lane last week and looked at the first proposal we ever sent, early ad content, and some old reports. It was amazing to see the difference between then and now, and really hit home what 10 years of development looks like. I’d like to say a huge thank you to Eddie Bullock, Stuart Gillett, Richard Haygarth, Doug Poole, and the late Ed Richardson for the invaluable help and guidance over the years that’s helped shape what we are today.’<br>The next chapter for the company involves a larger focus on its membership sales and marketing service, developing its already highly effective processes to maximise acquisition numbers through a number of new avenues. Intuitive’s in-house sales team has consistently proven over the last 4 years the huge value a dedicated sales resources has on membership marketing efforts, directly converting hundreds of members in 2024 and driving record membership years for many of its clubs. 2024 marked not only a decade in business for Intuitive Edge, but also a record year for the company’s sales service.<br>As a result, Intuitive are expanding this area of the business and will be rolling out a number of new services designed to get even better results in 2025.<br>Josh Henderson, Intuitive’s Account Director, adds: ‘Our increased emphasis on membership sales and marketing reflects both the results our processes are delivering and our commitment to helping clubs thrive in the competitive landscape they’re in.
