Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy square off in the TGL — the high-tech indoor golf league they co-founded — for the first time Monday night.
Woods, a member of Jupiter Links Golf Club, made his TGL debut on Jan. 14; Jupiter Links suffered a 12-1 defeat in their opening matchup. Meanwhile, McIlroy and Boston Common Golf are primed for their first appearance in the inaugural TGL season.
McIlroy is fresh off competing in the Dubai Desert Classic, where he finished tied for fourth place. Prior to the TGL, Woods had not competed since The Open in July and was coming off back surgery.

The match will be played at the state-of-the-art SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, on the campus of Palm Beach State College.

Yes, Tiger Woods is primed for his second TGL appearance as the Jupiter Links Golf Club battle Boston Common Golf on Monday night.
Woods previously competed on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
The six TGL teams consist of four players each, with three of the four players designated as ‘active’ for each match. See the rosters for all six teams below.
Matches are designed to last two hours and will feature three PGA Tour golfers competing in a head-to-head format.
Competition includes a ‘screen zone’ — a massive simulator screen with virtual holes — and a ‘green zone,’ for putts as well as shots 50 yards and in.
The fifteen-hole courses are divided into two sessions: a nine-hole, 3-on-3 format dubbed ‘triples,’ and a six-hole, head-to-head ‘singles’ round. Each hole is worth one point.
At the end of the regular season, the top four teams advance to the playoffs, which will feature single-elimination semifinals and a best-of-three finals.
