Want to revisit cult favourite show Lost again? Well, it’s now streaming on Netflix.
Remember the time when anyone who was watching TV last decade was obsessed with either Friends or Lost or both? Good news for all you Lost lovers as the supernatural show is now streaming on Netflix. All six seasons of the cult classic show are available to stream.
Lost ended its TV run some 14 years ago. It’s expected that the newer generation that has never been exposed to that content which many called was ahead of its time, will love watching Lost.
Lost was created by J.J. Abrams, Damon Lindelof and Jeffrey Lieber. The show is also available on Hulu along with Netflix from July 1. How it works between Hulu and Netflix is through a deal that the Disney-owned TV shows struck for streaming rights.
Under this deal, another hit show Grey’s Anatomy is also available on both Netflix and Hulu.
Previously, Netflix has inked a deal with Disney/ABC for Lost in 2009 but back then Hulu had not given up its sole rights over the supernatural show.
For the unversed, Lost follows the survivors of Oceanic Air flight 815, flying between Sydney and Los Angeles, that crashes on a mysterious island in the Pacific. The show had a steady six-season run and won massive acclaim and awards. For multiple years, it was nominated and won best drama series in Emmys and Golden Globe Awards.
The cast of Lost includes Jorge Garcia, Josh Holloway, Yunjin Kim, Evangeline Lilly, Terry O’Quinn, Naveen Andrews, Matthew Fox and Daniel Dae Kim.

Meanwhile, announcing that Lost is now available on Netflix, the OTT giant shared a social media post with the caption: “4 8 15 16 23 42.” That’s a reference to the atomic numbers of beryllium, oxygen, phosphorous, sulfur, vanadium, and molybdenum, respectively — and they’re the six numbers that Lost character Hugo “Hurley” Reyes played to win the lottery. But the string of numbers became a bad omen, following Hurley and the rest of the crash’s survivors with multiple appearances throughout the series.
