Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are just two out of many people to lose their home in the horrific Pacific Palisades fire this week, and although they are safe, they are understandably heartbroken. And in a few new video, Montag is sharing her emotional reaction to the loss.
In one video, shared to TikTok, Heidi is sitting with her two-year-old son Ryker watching TV when she broke down sobbing as she told fans, "I’m so sad our house is gone. I wish I could have gone back and got more. I didn’t think it would be the last time we would be in our house. I’m so sad for everyone else going through the same thing. It’s really hard losing your house and everything you worked so hard for."
Then, Ryker reaches up to sweetly touch his mother’s face, and she cracks a smile and told him, "Thank you."
In another video, she’s outside with her son, and again, breaks down in tears to express how much she misses their home. She shared, "It really does come in waves. I just want to go home. I just want to see all my stuff, and sit on my couch, and I really want to go home."
The Hills stars shared they lost their home on social media. While their family made it to safety, just before evacuating, Pratt shared terrifying video footage to his Instagram stories of planes dumping water over the fire in the distance in attempt to extinguish the flames. Meanwhile, Heidi also shared, "Well, we ended up losing our house in the fire, and thank God, we are safe. So, thank you to everyone who’s checking, thank you for all your prayers, thank you for your thoughts. It’s … yeah, no words," before she trails off and begins to cry.
Firefighters have been battling the Pacific Palisades wildfire against wind gusts that reached up to 100 mph. Over 3,000 acres of land have been burnt, in addition to numerous homes, businesses and more. California Governor, Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency.
