PHILADELPHIA, PA (AZFamily) — A group of friends from college are setting out to find the best sports town in the USA. It’s the plot for their new YouTube series “SportsTown,” out now.
Host and co-creator Dan Koob says Phoenix is a perfect city to be featured on the show.
“We almost shot the pilot at the WM Open in Phoenix,” host Dan Koob told Good Morning Arizona. “Phoenix is a really interesting sports town because you guys have so much history,” he added.
SportsTown’s first episode featured Lexington, Kentucky. The crew not only attended a Kentucky Wildcats basketball game but also tried authentic whiskey and went to check out horse racing at Keeneland. The first episode already has thousands of views.
As for the next episode, it will feature Philadelphia and will be available on YouTube soon. To check it out, subscribe to their page at YouTube.com/SportsTownShow.
