Viewers of the 82nd Golden Globes were confused by Harrison Ford‘s appearance and claimed he looked “annoyed” to be at the awards.
The Hollywood A-lister took to the stage with fellow presenter Anthony Mackie to hand out the award for Best Animated Feature at the annual ceremony that celebrates the best movies and television.
The pair, who star in Captain America: Brave New World together, had a seemingly tense moment on stage and fans couldn’t help but laugh at it while others claimed the Star Wars alum looked like he didn’t care about attending.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one person wrote: “Harrison Ford is so done with Anthony Mackie lol,” as another added: “Was Harrison Ford really annoyed or was he just acting?”
A third said: “I hated that presentation for Best Animated Feature. Sorry but putting Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford up there who clearly DGAF about the category and make it this awkward and weird moment. Not a fan.”Get all the latest news, entertainment, sport and lifestyle updates from our dedicated American team.

A fourth penned: “Harrison Ford’s face is giving ‘I’m getting too d— old for this.'”
Mackie opened up about working with Ford on the red carpet of the event.
When E! News asked him about what aspect of working with Ford on the new Marvel Studios movie most surprised him, the actor said: “I was surprised at how normal he was.”
“Usually you have a big star in a movie, they go sit off by themselves with their friends and won’t talk to you,” Mackie added of Ford, 82.
“But whenever the cast and crew got together Harrison would come and just chill with us like a regular person and eat those awful peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.”
After Mackie referenced eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on set with Ford, the actor said: “All day, all day,” when asked whether Ford enjoys the sandwich.

“That’s what we had, when you’re in the thick of it out in the bushes shooting these movies, fighting off ticks and squirrels,” he added. “They just bring out the PB&Js to make you happy.”
Ford spoke to Variety and Entertainment Tonight ahead of the Golden Globes about his long experience at awards shows, going back to his first win nearly 40 years ago.
He said he always remains on his best behavior at awards shows.
“I’m always very well behaved at awards shows,” the actor said, in response to Variety’s Mark Malkin asking about his “wildest” moment at events.
“Harrison Ford afterparties, they’re legendary!” Malkin teased.
“Oh, no no no,” Ford replied. ” I don’t think I’ve ever been to one! I usually go straight home.”
Twenty-three years ago, in 2002, Ford received the Cecil B. deMille award — bestowed upon major figures who have made great contributions to the film industry.
He’s the 50th recipient of the award, but Ford doesn’t have any memories of receiving the honor.
“[I remember] very little. Very little, except that it was a long time ago and I was very grateful for the attention,” he told Variety and ET, adding that he’s since gotten used to the recognition.
