Meanwhile, the 82nd Golden Globes Award kicked off with a groundbreaking milestone, featuring Nikki Glaser as its first-ever solo female host.
The comedian, known not to hold back her tongue, made some cutting jokes in her opening monologue. She also took a dig at the producers and even at CBS, which is streaming the event in the USA. "If you are watching on CBS, hello, if you’re watching on Paramount+ you have six days left to cancel your free trial. She went on: "I really feel like I have made it. I’m in a room full of producers at the Beverly Hilton and this time, all of my clothes are on. It was worth it."
Meanwhile, Payal Kapadia’s ‘All We Imagine As Light,’ which won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival, is nominated for Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language and Best Director – Motion Picture.
