George Clooney recently said goodbye to his silver fox locks and hello to a new hair chapter.
The Ocean’s Eleven star, known for his striking salt-and-pepper hair, has officially gone brunette. That’s right. Gone are the days of grays as Clooney prepares for his Broadway role as journalist Edward R. Murrow in "Good Night, And Good Luck," per Page Six.
The standout was seen enjoying lunch at Raoul’s in New York City with wife Amal and attorney Kevin Johnson on Sunday (March 9) afternoon, and fans were quick to point out his new hair color.
Photos obtained by the outlet show Clooney throwing a backpack into a vehicle and giving the world a first look at his brunette era. The silver screen king is no stranger to "Good Night, and Good Luck," as he starred in the film in 2005. But this time around, instead of playing a supporting role as he did two decades ago, Clooney is taking the lead.
The 63-year-old actor was not eager to dye his hair and recently told the New York Times that he knew his wife and kids would hate it long before he got it done.
"My wife is going to hate it because nothing makes you look older than when an older guy dyes his hair. My kids are going to just laugh at me nonstop."
