Gail A. Pfleuger
Dunkirk — Gail A. Pfleuger, 77, of Dunkirk, New York, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk, following a valiant battle with cancer. She was born in Buffalo on December 3, 1947, the daughter of the late Walter and Lucienne (Major) Cowan.
She worked as a District Manager for the Salvation Army, Erie, PA for over 30 years. Gail loved dogs, antiques and traveling.
Survivors include her husband Terry Pfleuger of Dunkirk, whom she married on September 30, 1976 in the Town of Sheridan, four daughters; Amy Jo Unger, Cindy Bauszus, Lisa Geffert, and Ellen Taberski. Also surviving are eight grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother Gary Cowan.
