Play-by-Play Announcer John Fanta and Analyst Kim Adams On the Call Throughout Tournament
BIG EAST Women’s Semifinals to Air on FOX Broadcast Network
New York – This week, FOX Sports’ coverage of the 2025 BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Tournament begins live from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. The network’s coverage tips off Saturday, March 8 with UConn taking on the winner of Butler vs. St. John’s in the quarterfinals on FS1 at 12:00 PM ET. For the first time ever, the BIG EAST women’s semifinals will air on the FOX broadcast network, starting at 2:30 PM ET and 5:00 PM ET on Sunday, March 9. The BIG EAST women’s champion is crowned Monday, March 10 at 7:00 PM ET on FS1.
FOX Sports’ play-by-play announcer John Fanta teams up with former All-Ivy League standout and analyst Kim Adams to call the tournament, beginning with Thursday’s quarterfinals. Allison Williams and Meghan Caffrey serve as sideline reporters throughout the tournament, while Williams also hosts studio coverage alongside analyst and three-time national champion Ashley Battle between Saturday’s semifinal matchups.
Following Monday’s championship matchup, Adams will present the tournament trophy during special postgame coverage celebrating the newly crowned BIG EAST women’s champion.
