A number of comic convention regulars are banding together to help victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.
On Feb. 22, names such as Kevin Smith, David Dastmalchian and Seth Green will assemble at MultiCon, taking place at The Preserve LA. There will be the normal trappings of a comic convention, including panels and autograph signings, but with a twist: fans can donate money to get autographs and selfies with talent.
Others attending include Rob Liefeld, Jackie Tohn, Daniel Logan, Yuri Lowenthal, Tara Platt, Isaac Robinson Smith, Monique Coleman and Kaycee Stroh. More will be announced as the date gets near.

“Everyone knows someone whose life was turned upside down from the wildfires. We have planned this event with Multihouse to not only raise funds to help those in need, but to also provide an opportunity for people to start the healing process,” said Larry Bond, chairman of Bond Companies and the developer of The Preserve LA.
Panel hosts include Greg Alba (Reel Rejects), Coy Jandreau (DC Official Podcast/Reel Rejects), Perri Nemiroff (Collider), Katcy Stephan (Variety), Juju Green aka Straw Hat Goofy, Erik “DoA” Lonnquist and Ben Watts (IGN).
Multihouse CEO and producer of the event Michael Tessler noted, “MultiCon unites the best of Hollywood and is a reminder that we’re more than just an industry; we’re a community of working-class dreamers and doers who care for one another and will roll up their sleeves when our neighbors need help.”
Tickets start at $35, with VIP tickets selling for $100 and can be purchased here.
“We couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to partner with Bond Companies and Multihouse for this event. Now more than ever, our work at United Way of Greater Los Angeles is critical – this recovery will take years, but we want our community to know we’ll be with them every step of the way,” said Elise Buik, CEO of United Way of Greater Los Angeles.
