Renowned television producer Rajan Shahi has sacked two actors from his popular show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. The actors in question are Shehzada Dhami, who portrayed the character of Armaan, and Pratiksha Honmukhe, known for her role as Roohi. Shahi cited specific reasons for their termination, citing Shehzada’s alleged misbehavior with the crew and Pratiksha’s inability to meet the expected standards of performance. Click here
Actor Bhumi Pednekar will make her series debut in the thriller drama ‘Daldal’ on Prime Video, where she plays a Mumbai police officer who is pursuing a serial killer.
Based on the book ‘Bhendi Bazaar’ by Vish Dhamija, the series will be directed by Amrit Raj Gupta of ‘Gullak’ fame. Abundantia Entertainment produces it.
‘Daldal’ stars Pednekar as Rita Ferreira, the recently appointed DCP of Mumbai, who is plagued by past guilt and current problems.
Prime Video on Tuesday announced its 2024 programming slate. The long list of shows and movies also included Ananya Panday’s new show ‘Call Me Bae.’ Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions’ digital content company Dharmatic, the show also stars Vir Das, Varun Sood. Karan Johar took to Instagram to post the announcement with the caption, “Downsized from heiress to hustler, Bae discovers that her most valuable assets aren’t her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, finding beaus, behens, and her better self.”

The trailer of ‘Crew’ has piqued the audience’s excitement and it promises a completely mad and entertaining ride. Ecstatic with the praises from everyone after the trailer release, the producers of the film, Ektaa R Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor have shown their gratitude.

Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, ‘Jatt Nuu Chudail Takri’ is taking over the box office. Released on 15th March, the film collected 2.74 Cr. on the 1st Day, Friday, which raised to 3.95 Cr. on the 2nd Day, Saturday, and 4.10 Cr. on the 3rd Day, Sunday. With this, the film successfully made it stand with whooping total of 10.79 Cr. on its first weekend, registering phenomenal growth.
As Amazon Prime release its upcoming slate of shows and films, the Indian adaptation of ‘Citadel’ seems to have caught everyone’s attention.
As per official synopsis, “Citadel: The compelling story of ‘Honey Bunny’ blends the comforting charm of a love story with the suspenseful aspects of a gritty spy action thriller, all set against the colourful backdrop of the ’90s. In the Citadel world, ‘Honey Bunny’ is the Indian serial.”
In his recent interaction with the young inspiring filmmakers from the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institution, Director-writer Vidhu Vinod Chopra talks about the importance of having a good script for making a good film. He said, “ The script should be talking to you. You should be able to fall in love with it. And ask yourself if you love that idea enough to tell the world.” He also hinted towards him liking and falling in love with his upcoming project, the idea of which he really liked. One being the relationship of a servant and his master. He loves the idea enough to tell the world.
Apart from this, Vidhu Vinod Chopra also gave a tip to the young film makers saying, “Each one of them should have their own idea. The most important thing here is that whatever you want to tell the world which may be very different in each case, that is what they should try and narrate. First of all, discover and find within yourself that what is it that you want to tell the world, and then say it in all honesty. While you connect your personal experiences to it. “
Bigg Boss OTT 2 Winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav, who got arrested in snake venom case has been framed, claim his parents. In an exclusive interview with ABP News, Elvish’s parents said that their son is innocent and that people jealous of his popularity are “trying to bring him down.”
Elvish’s father Avatar Yadav said, “Main ek teacher hoon. Main bachchon ko padhata hun, kya maine apne bachche ko nahi padhaya hoga? Mujhe apni parvarish par garv hai aur main har janam me uska pita banna chahunga. Achche sanskaar diye hain humne….( I am a teacher. I have taught children. Wouldn’t I impart the right teachings to my own son? I am proud of my upbringing and trust my child. I would want to be his father in every life. We have imparted good values to our son)”
Mother Sushma Yadav broke down into tears while saying that people are framing his son as he has achieved immense popularity at a young age.
Avatar Yadav said that he met he met his son after his arrest and the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner denied all claims of admitting his involvement in snake venom supply at rave parties. He also said that all allegations against his son are “fake” and “baseless.”
Bigg Boss OTT 2 Winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav, who was arrested on Sunday in connection with the snake venom case, is currently in judicial custody.
