Eminem is set to appear with former President Barack Obama at a presidential campaign rally for Vice President Kamala Harris.
According to reports, Eminem will introduce Obama for a get-out-the-vote rally for Harris on Tuesday (October 22) in Detroit, the rapper’s hometown.
Eminem’s appearance at the Harris rally comes after the rapper unleashed an eight-minute track where he dissed Trump called "Campaign Speech," where he described him as “a fin’ loose cannon who’s blunt with his hand on the button" ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
In 2017, the rapper also led a "F Trump" chant during his headline performance at the Reading Festival in the UK.
“He’s got our country f***ed up in America,” he said at the time.
Tuesday’s Detroit rally also comes on the heels of Trump comparing the city to a "developing" area and warning that “our whole country will end up being like Detroit” if Harris was elected.
Lizzo addressed Trump’s remarks about Detroit, which is also her hometown, during an early vote event for Harris in the city on Saturday (October 19).
“They say if Kamala Harris wins, the whole country will be like Detroit,” Lizzo said onstage. “Proud like Detroit. Resilient like Detroit. The same Detroit that innovated the auto industry and the music industry. Put some respect on Detroit’s name!”
