Wheeling Park football standout Brennan Wack, center, is the Wheeling Elks Ohio County Athlete of the Month for December. Wack, a junior running back, rushed for 2,258 yards and 31 touchdowns for the Patriots this season, and helped lead them to the West Virginia Class AAAA quarterfinals. Cameron football stalwart Mason Scott, center, is the Wheeling Elks Marshall County Athlete of the Month for December. Scott, a senior wide receiver and cornerback, has been a two-way standout for the Dragons all season, and helped lead them to a runner-up finish in the West Virginia Class A football playoffs.
