Echo Valley Bluegrass will perform Feb. 8 in Walton.
WALTON — Music on the Delaware announced Echo Valley Bluegrass will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 on the main stage at the historic Walton Theatre at 30 Gardiner Place.
According to a media release, the band has been rocking stages with their unique blend of bluegrass, rock Americana, folk and grassicana since 2009. With cool retro vibes and a high-energy show, Echo Valley hits more than 60 gigs each year, touring across the U.S., from Nashville to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Raleigh, North Carolina and several places in Pennsylvania and Ohio. They’re not just a road show – Echo Valley earned a spot as an Official Showcase Band at the International Bluegrass Music Association 2022 and wowed crowds at the Pennsylvania Fairs and Showmen Convention in 2022. They’ve also played at notable venues such as The Station Inn, Dollywood, and the Pittsburgh Three Rivers Arts Festival.
According to the band’s website, members are Lizzie playing guitar, alto and lead; Emily, playing fiddle; Olivia playing banjo, fiddle and one of the lead vocalists; Emmaline playing bass, guitar and dabbles with mandolin and piano offstage; Dolly playing mandolin and David playing banjo and bass singer. No last names were given in the media release or online. Emily, the band’s stellar fiddle player, snagged the 2021 Pennsylvania State Fiddle champ and the 2018 Maryland State Fiddle title.
The band’s latest album, is “Wildest Dreams,” which was released in 2022, was recorded in Nashville, produced by Donna Ulisse, and released on Bell Buckle Records, is turning heads, according to the media release. The band has also released “Echo Valley” (2016), “Rise and Shine” (2018), and “Christmas With Echo Valley” (2018).

Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, $40 for families and $15 for livestream and can be purchased on the Music on the Delaware website www.musiconthedelaware.org and at the Walton Theatre, Molto Molto and Wayne Bank in Walton and at the Green Toad Bookstore in Oneonta. There will be a brief intermission and an opportunity to win door prizes.
