The Dolphins announced a series of roster moves ahead of Sunday’s game against the Texans.
They have activated wide receiver Grant DuBose off of injured reserve and signed defensive tackle Matt Dickerson to the active roster from the practice squad. Quarterback Skylar Thompson was waived in a corresponding move.
With Thompson off the roster, Tyler Huntley will be the sole backup to Tua Tagovailoa on Sunday.
Dickerson has 42 tackles in 36 career games with the Titans, Falcons, and Chiefs. DuBose had one catch for 13 yards while appearing in the first two games of the season.
Edge rusher Bradley Chubb and linebacker Cameron Goode were not activated from injured reserve, so they will shoot for Week 16.
The Dolphins rounded out the day’s moves by elevating tackle Ryan Hayes and long snapper Zach Triner from the practice squad.
