(Alexandria, MN)–The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors visited three local businesses on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge recently opened a new location at 525 Willow Dr. The 50,000+ square-foot, 74-bed facility includes a chapel, dining hall, classrooms, common areas, quiet spaces, weight room, gymnasium, and more. The facility offers treatment and recovery programs for those struggling with addiction. It also offers outpatient, telehealth and in-person, licensed residential, long-term recovery, and more. D. Mike’s Resort Bar & Grill opened this spring in the Viking Plaza Mall. The new restaurant pays homage to the former D. Michael B’s Resort Bar & Grill with some of the same decor and the menu featuring 80 percent of the previous menu. Quality Equipment recently built a new building at the same location to accommodate its growing needs. Formerly known as Alex Power Equipment, the company was purchased by Quality Equipment back in 2020. The new building allows for a larger show room and more shop room to service different products.
