As executive managing director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Long Island office, David Pennetta is responsible for team business, implementation of key business initiatives, leadership, client relationship management, business development and recruitment. He ensures delivery of the full array of C&W’s creative and innovative services to clients.
Pennetta serves in a brokerage capacity with an emphasis on corporate representation, with subspecialties in land sales, government affairs, economic development, and tax and incentive procurement. Pennetta is an omnichannel broker working on regionally significant projects.
An honors graduate of New York University, Pennetta earned a Bachelor of Science in real estate and received the NYU Founders Day Award. He is currently a candidate for a master’s degree at Georgetown University.
Pennetta is involved in several initiatives serving charitable and other community organizations, including Winters Brothers Center for Autism, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Molloy University, Stony Brook University, Independent Group Home Living Program and The Safe Center LI.
A multi-award-winning broker and recognized subject matter expert, Pennetta has appeared in various broadcast media, including CBS New York, Channel 21 and NPR Radio, and frequently contributed to the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Real Deal, LIBN and Newsday. He has spoken before many universities and business groups, including Stony Brook University, Hofstra University and Touro Law Center. He has served as the real estate anchor in Innovate Long Island’s “Loaded Voices” lineup. He is also a strategic officer for the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island and holds a seat on the Huntington Planning Board.
