The ability to drive off-site is a very important benefit for the team. It makes it very easy to collect materials from local suppliers when required.
“And on-site, they are very easy to navigate around the narrow pathways we have here, and they are much quieter than traditional utility vehicles, which ensures a peaceful environment for our members.”
He added: “We’ve used Club Car utility vehicles for a number of years, so when they introduced a new road-legal model it was a no-brainer. Overall we’re delighted with the URBAN. Crucially, they offer long-term savings because of the reduced operational and maintenance costs.”
Andy Bourke, Club Car Regional Manager, said: “The Club Car URBAN is one of the most powerful, versatile electric mobility solutions on the market. It’s fantastic to hear the cars are already making a big difference at The Hurlingham Club, and it speaks volumes that such a prestigious organisation would choose Club Car.”
Club Car URBAN can be customised with many different configurations, carries a payload of up to 1,000kg and can reach speeds of up to 50kmh.
WATCH: CLUB CAR AT THE HURLINGHAM CLUB
Origin Amenity Solutions, a leader in premium turf care solutions, will launch two groundbreaking fertiliser ranges at BTME 2025 – the revolutionary Xtend Controlled Release Fertiliser range and the precision-focused Microlite range.
TGL presented by SoFi, the new, prime time team golf league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports has announced KPMG as the Official Performance Insights and Analytics Provider.
Global heritage brand Alan Paine has unveiled its AW25 golf collection, a comprehensive range of premium knitwear in natural fibres, performance polo shirts and essential mid-layers.
GolfBusinessNews.com (GBN) is for the many thousands of people who work in the golf business all around the world.
We cover the full range of topics both on and off the course.
