Hello Mr Transformer Chris Hemsworth!
Thor actor Chris Hemsworth is currently in talks for a film which is pegged to be an interesting crossover between Transformers/G.I. Joe. According to Deadline, the film will be based on the line of Hasbro toys.
Chris is already a part of Paramount Animation/Hasbro’s Transformers One which is scheduled for a release in theatres on September 20, 2024. It was one of the biggest tests that Paramount Animation floated. Reports suggest that it set the stage for this Transformers/G.I.Joe crossover which is currently in its casting stage.
Notably, the crossover movie was pegged as an idea last year in the epilogue of Steven Caple Jr.’s Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, a sequel which revived the robots in disguise on the big screen. The film was a massive hit at the box office. At the time, it recorded even more than Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny‘s $384 million worldwide.
There is another instance when G.I. Joe and Transformers got together – famed Marvel comic book back in the 1980s.

Chris Hemsworth currently stars as Dementus in George Miller’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. In the film, Anya Taylor-Joy and Alyla Browne play the younger version of Furiosa – a character that was made memorable by Charlize Theron in the 2015 version of the film. Miller along with writer Nico Lathouris keeps the premise similar to previous films of the franchise but the story is set in different periods as it charts the journey of Furiosa in a dystopian wasteland of Australia where warlords Dementus (Chris Hemsworth) and Immortan Joe (Lachy Hulme) rule.
