CHIPPEWA FALLS (WQOW) – Business owners in Downtown Chippewa Falls are busy bees getting ready for this weekend’s buzzing event.
Queen Bee Ladies Day is this Saturday and is hosted by Chippewa Falls Main Street.
There will be more than 20 businesses involved, and another 20 vendors at Collective Charm doing sales. They’ll offer samples and demonstrations to the community. People will be able to find vintage clothing, upcycled pieces, self-care products, jewelry and more.
This is the very first Queen Bee Ladies Day.
The Director of Chippewa Falls Main Street, Teri Ouimette, explained why they’re putting it on.
“Just to show off our downtown, were very proud of downtown Chippewa Falls. We do a lot of events downtown. We welcome the community, we want people to shop local and know what we have,” said Ouimette.
One of the businesses participating in the event is The Pretty Peach, who is offering $15 walk-in eyebrow waxes, a $10 off voucher for future appointments, and 15% off retail products.
The downtown area is already decorated with yellow ribbons ahead of the event. The event goes from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. this Saturday.
