ALEXANDRIA — The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recognized four local businesses on Wednesday, June 12.
Ray’s Sport and Marine recently acquired Stub’s Marine, along with some products from Alex Auto and Marine. This acquisition adds to the list of locations spread throughout Minnesota. Alexandria product lines include Alumacraft, Lund, Premier, Skeeter, Viaggio, Shoremaster, and Yamaha. They deal in boats, pontoons, pre-owned inventory, outboards, docks and lifts, and more and offer a variety of services including storage, winterization, insurance and warrant repair, restoration, oil changes, and more. Ann and Kenny Proctor are the new owners of 2 Guyz Pizza located at 1405 Broadway St. S, Ste. A. As long-time customers of the take and bake pizza store, they said they were excited about the opportunity to purchase when they found out it was for sale.
With the new ownership, the menu remains the same featuring pizzas such as Big Maui, South of the Border, Garlic Chicken Parmesan, and more, while also including a variety of salads, sides and desserts. Caribou Cabin is the newest caribou location in Alexandria located at 4303 Dakota St. The cabin is one of three styles Caribou has, the other two in Alexandria are considered Chalets but other areas also have Caribou Lodges which is an elongated version of the cabin. The Caribou Cabin menu is smaller but still offers a variety of food and beverage options that are available for drive-through or walk-up only.
