Carrie Underwood is set to make a big splash with her performance at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, but some fans are slamming the star for having “too much surgery” in recent years and changing her appearance.
The singer, who recently made a multi-million dollar career move, and is set to return to American Idol as a judge, something show staff allegedly is excited about, is performing during the ABC special, which reunites her with Ryan Seacrest.
However, with the upcoming televised performance, fans are critiquing her ever-changing looks over the years as a result.
Comments quickly swarmed as the 41-year-old shared a video and photos on social media sharing her excitement over her gig.
While most expressed excitement over seeing her perform, others pointed out their disdain that she has seemingly had extensive plastic surgery. “Quit the plastic surgery already. Sold soul,” one wrote.
“Back when she looked normal and healthy and down-to-earth,” another added.
“How much surgery has she had since then?” a third questioned.
The singer has been upfront in the past about having surgery on her face after a nasty fall outside her Nashville home in 2017, which occurred as she walked her dogs late at night.
