Alex Cooper opened up about a new purchase she made.
The Call Her Daddy host revealed on her Christmas episode that she and her husband, Matt Kaplan, bought her parents a home in Los Angeles, California after planning to move from their home state of Pennsylvania. The couple surprised Alex's parents with the home. Alex's new purchase comes after she signed a $125 million deal with SiriusXM, ending her Spotify pact.
She said: "It makes me emotional thinking about it because when I started ‘Call Her Daddy,’ I had somewhat of a vision of what I hoped this would turn into… To be able to go to my parents this summer, with Matt, and be like, ‘I want to buy you guys a house and I want to do this for you. I’m so excited to be able to do this for you and I want nothing in return. I just want your happiness and I want you guys to enjoy it and thrive.'"

Alex Cooper opens up on childhood in new emotional Call Her Daddy episode as parents make major move
Alex revealed that she and Matt went to look at a home for her parents and thought of her mother. She said that her parents "love the New England style" of a house. When her parents went to visit Los Angeles, they also fell in love with the property. Little did they know that Alex put a bid on the home to try to buy it for them.
She said: "It’s such a cool feeling and it was such an emotional moment when I told my parents that I was going to buy them this house. We all cried. It just meant so much because I would not be where I am today without my parents."
Alex added: "Buying them a house is the least I could f—–g do. They sacrificed financially and emotionally. They sacrificed with my other siblings in moments for me. It feels really really f—–g insane and incredible that I get to do this."
The podcaster shared that her parents would be residing about 10-15 minutes away from her $10.7 million home in Studio City, California, which her and Matt bought in 2022.
