Roanoke area residents are invited to register for a free series of financial literacy classes taught by financial professionals starting next month.
The classes will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month starting in April through September at the EnVision Center, 2607 Salem Turnpike N.W. in Roanoke.
Just 15 slots are available through the program sponsored by Bank On Roanoke Valley. It is open to residents of Roanoke and Salem, the counties of Botetourt, Craig, Franklin and Roanoke and the town of Vinton.
The registration deadline is April 19. To register, contact Brandon Meginley, city financial stability specialist, at brandon.meginley@roanokeva.gov or 853-1120.
