ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The Boat, Vacation and Fishing Show is a one-stop shop for fishing and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages.
The show takes place from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 31, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 1 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 2 at 8800 E. Riverside Blvd. in Loves Park.
Multiple seminars are offered with experienced anglers and guides from Illinois and Wisconsin teaching lure applications, how to target certain fish species, sonar tips and safety. Kids can learn how to cast a fishing line and participate in minnow races.
Boats and other recreational vehicles are for sale throughout the event, along with the latest fishing gear. The show also offers opportunities to enter contests to win fishing trips.
