Despite Trump once poking fun at his daughter Miley Cyrus, the singer chose to perform at Trump’s second inauguration. Miley had shown support for Vice President Kamala Harris in the November 2024 election and previously labeled Trump a “racist, sexist, hateful a—–e.”
Last summer, Trump threw shade at Miley at a rally that Billy happened to attend. “Billy Ray Cyrus is here. Where is Billy Ray? He’s around here someplace, and he’s great,” Trump announced at the event.

How had that happened, Billy Ray?'” The once tight-knit father-daughter relationship took a hit when Miley’s mom Trish and Billy ended their marriage. After nearly 30 years of matrimony, it’s reported that Miley sided with her mother.
