Princess Beatrice is expecting her second child, and due to "medical reasons," will be unable to join her in-laws for their annual Christmas festivities in Italy.
According to People, the beloved royal and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have redirected their holiday travel plans to Sandringham, UK, and will celebrate the season with the royal family instead. Beatrice plans to take part in all royal festivities, but her pregnancy will prevent her from accompanying her relatives, including her uncle King Charles III and cousin Prince William, on their walk to church.
The Princess and her husband will not be the only ones joining their relatives in Sandringham this Christmas as their two children, Christopher “Wolfie” Woolf, 8, and Sienna Elizabeth, 3, are expected to join them.
Buckingham Palace announced news of Princess Beatrice’s pregnancy in October, revealing that the child will be born in Spring 2025.
"Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring; a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three." The statement also highlighted King Charles’ delight for his niece.
"His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news," People reported.
Congratulations, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi!
