The city of Bellevue owns various properties adjacent to the 2 Line, where light rail service now extends to Redmond … and should connect to Seattle next winter. Three years ago, the city began soliciting proposals for housing at BelRed Station. There, it owns parking lots on the north side of the tracks and, to the south, the vacant former Kelly’s Auto Body site.
