From a young, sweet fawn to a ferocious, vicious and blood-thirsty deer, Bambi has had a journey that will shock you.
Bambi is here to avenge his mother and in the new teaser-trailer released, he has identified his targets. This is the first teaser from the film Bambi: The Reckoning, which is the next installment of Umbrella Entertainment’s B-movie horror franchise, which is reimagining the beloved children’s characters with a horror lens.
In the teaser for Bambi: The Reckoning, we are first teased to a shot of a dead bird as two hunters, in the wee hours of dawn, practice shooting in what looks like the middle of a forest. One hunter asks another, “You ever shot a deer?” The other hunter responds, “No. Have you?” The first guy answers back with, “Yeah, once.” The teaser seems to imply that this hunter is the same one who killed Bambi’s mother.
We are then shown a shot where an angry deer attacks a car and as the vehicle turns upside down, the deer lets out an angry grunt.

The main plot of the film is said to follow characters Xana (Roxanne McKee) and her son Benji (Tom Mulheron) who are in the car wreck and are soon hunted down by a “vicious killing machine,” Bambi.
Bambi teaser comes shortly after the release of the first film from the franchise of horror flicks, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. Winnie’s film released on March 26.
Post the film release, makers announced “Poohniverse” franchise of films, which will see characters like Bambi, Tinker Bell, Pinocchio and more team up in an “Avengers-style” movie with a horror-genre twist, titled Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble.

The film series will also include Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare and Pinocchio Unstrung. Other characters expected to join the franchise include Sleeping Beauty, The Mad Hatter, and more characters from Winnie the Pooh.
