10.51am 5th April 2024 - <a href="https://golfbusinessnews.com/news/practice-range-and-teaching/">Practice Range & Teaching</a> <br><a href="https://www.flitegolf.com">Flite Golf & Entertainment</a> has announced the opening of its new <a href="https://atomicgolf.com">Atomic Golf</a> entertainment facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.<br>Formerly known as Atomic Range, the venue is located next to the STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower and occupies a seven-acre site, featuring four levels and more than 100 hitting bays. eight putting bays, six bars and two food outlets.<br>The facility, which officially opened on March 22, uses Flite Golf’s patented ball tracking technology to present a suite of all-new games designed for all ages and skill levels.<br>Charges for bay hire starts at $40 per hour on weekday afternoons (Mon-Thurs), rising to $60 per hour in the evening (Sun-Thurs) and $80 per hour all day on Friday and Saturday. The venue is open from Noon-12am Mon-Weds, 10am-2am Thurs-Saturday, and 9am-10pm on Sunday.<br>“Atomic Golf is Flite’s showpiece in America’s preeminent entertainment destination,” said John Vollbrecht, CEO and founder of Flite Golf & Entertainment. “Our technology is second-to-none and the overall guest experience will provide a much-needed upgrade to yesterday’s golf entertainment.”<br>Flite Golf, which is based in Dallas, builds, installs and supports technology solutions at golf clubs and at off-course entertainment venues. The company announced a strategic partnership with <a href="http://www.centurygolf.com">Century Golf</a> in 2021. Century Golf will manage Atomic Golf, while Flite Golf will manage the technology side of things, with 15 people working directly on the Las Vegas project.<br>Flite Golf has other facilities around the world, including <a href="https://greenwichpeninsulagolfrange.com">Greenwich Peninsula Golf Range</a> in London and First Golf in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Additional facilities in the same style of Atomic Golf are in various stages of development.<br>England Golf's Girls Golf Rocks activation is back for 2024 and is being joined by a brand new Get into Golf Rookies programme.<br>The PGA aims to recruit more than 100 Professionals to pledge free multi-round fourballs to encourage greater participation in the biggest fundraiser in golf. 50% of Big Golf Race participants do not complete the challenge with access to multi-round bookings identified as a barrier<br>Burhill Group Limited announces the appointment of Stephen Brown as the new Chief Operating Officer of the Adventure and Ninja Leisure business division - taking over from Andrew Scholey as he moves into his new role at the Lane7 group at the beginning of June.
