Miramax has named former Village Roadshow and CBS executive Alix Jaffe president of television at the company.
Jaffe will formally join Miramax on March 31, taking oversight of the company’s TV portfolio. She takes over for Marc Helwig, who departed earlier this year. Senior vp television development Mirsada Abdool Raman will report to Jaffe.
“The combination of Alix’s razor-sharp creative instincts, deep talent relationships, and her expertise in nurturing both existing IP and original content creates an extraordinary opportunity for Miramax TV,” Miramax CEO Jonathan Glickman said in a statement. “With the strength of Miramax’s iconic library, she is uniquely positioned to drive innovative storytelling, elevate our global business, and lead us in delivering the highest-quality talent and stories to audiences worldwide.”

Said Jaffe, “I’m thrilled to join Jon and the incredible team at Miramax. I’ve long admired their rich catalog and look forward to creating bold new shows, developing fresh original content and telling stories that push boundaries and resonate with audiences around the world.”
Miramax’s TV portfolio includes Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series The Gentlemen and Max’s filmmaking docuseries Project Greenlight, which the streamer revived in 2023. When Glickman became CEO last year, Miramax acquired the positions of his former company, Panoramic Media, in Netflix’s Wednesday and Zero Day.
Jaffe was most recently executive vp television at Village Roadshow, helping launch the TV division at the company. Prior to that, she was president of Greg Garcia’s production company Amigos de Garcia and served as an executive producer of Garcia’s shows The Guest Book and The Millers. Jaffe was vp current programming at CBS before joining Amigos de Garcia.
