In 2A Soccer, Peoria Notre Dame captures 3rd Place in the state after an impressive 3-1 win. In 1A Softball, Illini Bluffs finishes runner up for the second straight year after a heartbreaking loss in today’s state championship.
Today was also the first day of the annual Peoria Richwoods Boy’s Basketball Shootout which had teams from the Peoria area, as well as schools as far north as Milwaukee competing in the 2-day tournament.
