Leopold’s Ice Cream to host book signing event Friday, May 31
Meet Unique Eats and Eateries of Savannah Author Rebekah Faulk Lingenfelser
Private chef, author and culinary TV personality Rebekah Faulk Lingenfelser will visit Leopold’s Ice Cream, 212 E. Broughton St., this Friday, May 31, from 11 am to 1 pm to sign her new book, Unique Eats and Eateries of Savannah, featuring the renowned ice cream shop on page 46. The drop-in event is free and open to the public and books will be available for purchase. Guests are invited to meet and greet the author and cool down in the summer heat with Leopold’s Ice Cream.
The latest local interest book in a national series published by Reedy Press, Unique Eats and Eateries of Savannah features more than 80 of the city’s local food establishments. From restaurants and bakeries, to artisan meat markets and ethnic cafes, it showcases the people and stories behind the food. Available wherever books are sold.

Restore First Health opens Savannah location
Restore First Health announces Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting on Monday, June 3 (4 pm) at 25 Chatham Center S, Suite 200. Restore First Health is a mobile advanced wound care program that provides bedside wound therapy to patients throughout the United States.
The location allows Restore First Health to now offer programs in and around Savannah, with help from partner and community resources to aid in ensuring home-bound patients can receive advanced wound therapy at their bedside. The Y Bar Savannah announces grand opening
The Y Bar Savannah, located at 347 MLK Jr. Blvd., is the newest and hottest event venue in beautiful historic downtown Savannah. The Y Bar Savannah will host weekly yoga classes like “Soul Sundays” and “Never Miss A Monday.”
Classes will be taught by Mahogany Bowers, owner and operator of The Y Bar Savannah and a certified yoga guide. She was born and raised on the Westside of Savannah and is the first black person to own a yoga studio in Savannah.
