Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are closing in on one of the biggest boxing events of 2024, with the ex-heavyweight champion and the YouTube sensation-turned-fighter set to take center stage on Netflix.
Tyson vs. Paul will be the main event on a fascinating fight card promoted by the streaming platform and Most Valuable Promotions, with a huge crowd anticipated at the home of the NFL‘s Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium. The bout came into question earlier this year, when Tyson dealt with an ulcer flare-up in May that required him to scale back training. However, the parties were able to agree to move the fight date from July 15 to November, giving fight fans the match they’ve been looking forward to.
Tyson resumed training in July, and has declared himself physically ready for the fight. Netflix has begun airing “Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson,” a documentary tracking both fighters as they go through grueling training camps and navigate all the hype heading into the massive bout.
