Actor-comedian Sunil Grover revealed that his public altercation with fellow comic Kapil Sharma was a PR ploy. Sunil Grover is getting ready for his streaming show, “The Great Indian Kapil Show.”
On Tuesday, while speaking to the media on the sets of his programme, Sunil made light of the altercation with Kapil that rocked the entertainment world six years prior.
When streaming services first started to gain traction in the nation, Sunil and Kapil joked with the media about what they might do to provide television programmes a competitive advantage or, more accurately, to join the over-the-top (OTT) bandwagon.
He jokingly said, “At that time, Netflix was just getting started in India. Toh humko laga ki television ki audience ko baandh ke rakhne ke liye kuch karna padega. Thus, Kapil and I decided that we needed to take some action to keep our television audience interested.
Star Banita Sandhu has started filming the spy action movie ‘Goodachari 2’ (G2) in Bhuj, Gujarat.
The film, which will be released in several languages, is Banita’s first pan-Indian production and stars Adivi Sesh in the lead role.
Adivi appeared in the prequel ‘Goodachari,’ which paved the way for stardom and became a huge hit. The friendship between Adivi and Banita is expected to add depth to the follow-up and improve the audience’s overall experience.
Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, best known for her portrayal of Roshan Sodhi in the popular TV series ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,’ has been embroiled in a legal battle against the show’s producer, Asit Kumar Modi, alleging sexual harassment in the workplace. The actress filed a sexual harassment case against Asit Kumar Modi, along with Sohil Ramani and Jatin Ramani last year. As per a report in ETimes, she has won the case and Asit Modi has been ordered to pay her outstanding dues and also Rs 5 lakh as compensation.
