While we don’t know what role John Malkovich has been roped in to play in The Fantastic Four, we know that it will be huge!
Marvel’s The Fantastic Four has roped in ace actor John Malkovich for its next feature. His role is currently being kept a secret but it’s possible he could be taking up an important role of a supervillain in the film.
John Malkovich joins other actors in the film including Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Marvel’s First Family along with Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal, a version of the Silver Surfer and Paul Walter Hauser. So it’s a huge ensemble cast and we are not complaining one bit!
John Malkovich is speculated to take up the role of one of the villains from the comics – including the Wizard who leads a supervillain version of the Fantastic Four and the Beyonder who has his own multiverse saga. Hence the possibilities are endless.
Meanwhile, John Malkovich boasts of a prolific filmography like Dangerous Liaisons, In the Line of Fire, Being John Malkovich, and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. He has also done some animated family films like Penguins of Madagascar. He was most recently seen in the Netflix series Ripley and the Apple TV+ series The New Look.
As for The Fantastic Four, the film is directed by Matt Shakman. The script is penned by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer, with Peter Cameron. Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige is producing.
The Fantastic Four will release on July 25, 2025.
