Grizzly Cubs outdo Woodmen
Franklin got a 36 from Kadin Gibson and a 37 from Reid Davidson on its way to a 155-174 victory over Greenwood at Valle Vista on Monday. Matthew Ferguson added a 39 for the Grizzly Cubs, while Jake Lock rounded out the scoring with a 40. Davis Arthur shot 42 to lead the Woodmen, who also got rounds of 43 from Kalen Rowland and Barden Chase.

Warriors shut out Braves
Whiteland earned a 5-0 win over Indian Creek on Monday. Candace Stephenson, Rowen Starns and Taylor Darnell were all straight-set singles winners for the Warriors (10-11), Cathy Nguyen and Kinsey Shipp won handily at first doubles and Namjeet Kaur and Karley Hoagland picked up a victory at second doubles.
Lancers come up just short
Edinburgh suffered a narrow 3-2 setback against Southwestern. The Lancers’ points both came in singles, with Jessica Walsh pulling out a three-set win in the No. 1 spot and Zoey Sida victorious in straight sets at No. 3.
Trojans clipped by Irish
Despite taking both doubles matches, No. 14 Center Grove was edged by No. 15 Cathedral, 3-2. The Trojans got a win from their No. 1 pairing of Lauren Dick and Ava Beecher and another from the No. 2 tandem of Kenna Harbin and Anna Runkle.

Edinburgh claims lopsided win
Eloise Cox pitched a three-hitter and went 3 for 4 with three RBIs in Edinburgh’s 15-0 home rout of South Decatur on Monday. Kyah Streeval and Kenna Streeval each scored three runs for the Lancers (6-10, 4-4 Mid-Hoosier).

Whiteland hammers Hawks
Drew Helton went 3 for 5 with two doubles and four runs batted in as Whiteland rolled to a 16-6 victory at Decatur Central on Monday. Maalik Perkins and Peyton Dickens each had three RBIs for the Warriors (11-6, 7-3 Mid-State), while David Collins scored four runs.
Lancers blanked by Cougars
Edinburgh lost to visiting South Decatur, 4-0. Avynn Whitaker had the lone hit for the Lancers (10-8-1, 4-6 Mid-Hoosier).
Boys volleyball
Warriors sweep Madison
Host Whiteland picked up a 25-16, 25-19, 25-20 victory over Madison on Monday. The win moves the Warriors’ record to 17-12 on the season.
