The Economic Alliance Snohomish County is holding, from May 7-10, its annual D.C. Fly-In to discuss the region’s federal priorities.
During the trip, delegation members will meet with congressional members, senators, and federal agencies as they take the EASC’s federal agenda to key policy makers, a release from the organization said.
“As the trusted connection between business and government, we are uniquely positioned to represent the voice of business with our legislators,” said Wendy Poischbeg, EASC interim president and CEO, in a press statement. “EASC is a model for public-private advocacy efforts that come together to take a unified message to federal policy makers.”
EASC’s advocacy agenda with federal lawmakers will touch on policy issues in four main areas:
The agenda is developed in collaboration with business and community leaders, local governments, educational institutions, and nonprofit leaders from across Snohomish County, the release noted.
