FLORENCE, Ala. (WAFF) – The Hazel Green High School E-Sports team is going to the state championship at the University of North Alabama.
Team Dionysus previously beat Columbia High School in the playoffs.
More than 30 boys and girls compete on the team and play a number of different games. The team will play the game Splatoon 2 during the championship.
The championship will be at noon on Monday. It will be streamed on UNA’s Twitch streaming account.
The Hazel Green E-sports team is part of the Alabama High School Athletic Association and competes during the fall semester.
