Casper Ruud beat Stephano Tsitsipas 7-5, 6-3 to win the Barcelona Open. Earlier, Tsitsipas had beaten Ruud in the final to win the Monte Carlo Masters.

Liverpool beat Fulham 3-1 to reignite their Premier League title challenge. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota and Ryan Gravenberch scored a goal each for the Reds.
