I totally agree with the newspaper’s editorial on April 10 as well as Clancy DuBos’ column on the public records laws our legislators are trying to pass (especially Senate Bill 482).
In my view, anytime our legislators do not wish the public to have access, they are trying to hide something.
This is the very reason I continue to receive this newspaper. I find The Advocate does an excellent job of keeping abreast of all the machinations or, should I say “shenanigans” going on in Baton Rouge. This is not to say that honest work is not accomplished in our Capitol, but I am glad The Advocate is keeping them honest.
Although I do not agree with all the opinions that are printed, I do value reading them. Keep up the good work at The Advocate.
