The building, pictured after Banana Republic left, then still in search of a tenant.
The century-old landmarked former Coliseum movie palace, at 500 Pike St., last traded in 2007 to an LLC associated with Principal Real Estate Investors of Iowa. It paid $13 million for a building then leased to Banana Republic. Times have changed, for both moviegoing and downtown shopping.
