STAMFORD — Friends of Music of Stamford will launch its 2024 season with a chamber concert by pianist Einav Yarden at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 21. She will play works by Bach, Schumann and Haydn.
According to a media release, Yarden has received praise for her solo performances in New York City and throughout Europe, as well as orchestra engagements under conductors including Sir Neville Marriner, Leon Botstein, Frédéric Chaslin, Stefan Blunier, Aldo Ceccato, Mendi Rodan, and Simon Halsey.
Hosted by the First Presbyterian Church at 96 Main St. in Stamford, admission will be by donation at the door. The suggested donation is $15 per person, $10 for seniors and students. There is no charge for those younger than 13.
