Butler posted 30 points (11-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds, five assists and four steals over 37 minutes in Wednesday’s 107-104 win over the Cavaliers.
Butler missed the last two games due to a foot issue, but he was able to suit up Wednesday to lead the Heat in scoring. It marked the seventh time this season Butler has scored 30-plus points in a game, with the last instance before Wednesday taking place March 2 against the Jazz. Since the All-Star break, Butler is averaging 22.3 points on 50.9 percent shooting, 5.4 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.8 steals over 35.3 minutes per game.
Butler (foot) is available for Wednesday’s game versus the Cavaliers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Butler has been upgraded from questionable to available after missing Miami’s last two contests with a right foot contusion. The star forward is averaging 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.6 steals in 35.1 minutes across his previous 10 appearances. However, with Bam Adebayo (back) out, Butler could take on an increased offensive workload.
Butler (foot) was spotted getting shots up at Wednesday’s morning shootaround, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Butler has been sidelined for the past two games, and he’s currently listed as questionable for Wednesday. His availability at the shootaround is a good sign that he’s trending in the right direction, but if Butler is unable to suit up, the Heat could rely heavily on Jaime Jaquez and Caleb Martin.
Butler (foot) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Cavaliers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Butler has missed back-to-back games due to a foot issue and is listed as questionable again. If the star forward is sidelined, Jaime Jaquez, Haywood Highsmith and Caleb Martin would be candidates for increased roles, especially with Duncan Robinson joining Tyler Herro (foot) and Josh Richardson (shoulder) on the sidelines.
Butler (foot) has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the 76ers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Butler was questionable for Monday’s matchup and will be forced to miss a second consecutive game due to a right foot contusion. Jaime Jaquez will likely draw another start for Miami, while Butler’s next chance to suit up will be Wednesday in Cleveland.
Butler (foot) is questionable for Monday’s game against the 76ers.
Butler is questionable again after missing Sunday’s win over the Pistons due to a right foot contusion. If the star forward misses both halves of the back-to-back set, Jaime Jaquez would likely draw another start.
Butler (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against Detroit.
Butler’s next opportunity to take the court comes Monday, when Miami finishes up its back-to-back set with a matchup with the 76ers. Butler dealt with an extended absence due to a right toe sprain in December and January, but the Heat haven’t provided an inclination that his current right foot bruise is related. Jaime Jaquez is a candidate to start in Butler’s stead and is averaging 15.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 19 games without Butler this season.
Butler is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game versus the Pistons due to a right foot contusion, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Butler injured his foot during Friday’s win over Detroit and is now in danger of missing Sunday’s contest. If Butler is ruled out, Jaime Jaquez, Haywood Highsmith and Caleb Martin are candidates to receive increased playing time.
Butler closed Wednesday’s 100-88 loss to Denver with 15 points (6-16 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one block over 36 minutes.
Butler popped up on the injury report Tuesday with an illness, but it wasn’t severe enough to keep him out of Wednesday’s rematch of the 2022-23 NBA Finals. It was a tough night on the offensive side of the floor for the Heat, with Butler’s 15 points second on the team behind Bam Adebayo. Butler is averaging 22.5 points on 50.0 percent shooting, 5.2 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.0 steals over 36.6 minutes per game in March.
Butler (illness) will play Wednesday against the Nuggets, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
As expected, Butler has been upgraded from probable to available and will play in an eighth straight game. Over his last seven appearances, Butler has averaged 23.3 points, 6.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 36.7 minutes per game.
Butler (illness) is probable for Wednesday’s game versus Denver, Tim Reynolds of Associated Press reports.
Butler was held out of practice Tuesday, but given the probable tag, the illness is likely not too severe. In Butler’s last five games, he averaged 24.0 points, 6.4 assists, 5.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.0 three-pointers.
Butler contributed 23 points (9-20 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 36 minutes during Sunday’s 110-108 loss to Washington.
Butler led the Heat in scoring and contributed in peripheral categories, something he does with absolute ease on a game-to-game basis, so his overall stat line wasn’t much of a surprise in a game the Heat surprisingly lost to the Wizards. Butler has been consistent since the end of the All-Star break, scoring at least 20 points in all but one of his last eight outings while averaging 23.3 points per game in that stretch.
Butler ended with 20 points (8-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 10 rebounds and eight assists across 37 minutes during Friday’s 107-100 loss to the Thunder.
The Heat came up short and suffered a seven-point loss to the Thunder, but Butler was impressive on both ends of the court and finished just two assists away from recording a triple-double. Butler has been outstanding since the end of the All-Star break, missing just one game and averaging a robust stat line of 23.3 points, 6.6 assists, 6.1 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 0.6 blocks per game.
Butler ended with 26 points (7-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 11-12 FT), six rebounds, eight assists and two steals over 37 minutes during Tuesday’s 118-110 win over the Pistons.
Butler has made it a point of emphasis over his last two appearances to get to the charity stripe and has gone 21-for-23 from the free-throw line over that span. Butler has also been getting his team involved lately, registering six or more assists in six of his last seven games. He’s averaged 25.8 points on 54.8 percent shooting, 5.8 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 2.2 steals over 34.6 minutes per game over his last five contests.
Butler notched 37 points (12-19 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 10-11 FT), three rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes during Saturday’s 126-120 victory over the Jazz.
Butler carried the Heat to victory Saturday, scoring a season-high 37 points. He has now tallied at least 20 points in four straight games, a welcome sight for fantasy managers. While the risk of missed games is an ongoing concern, Butler typically increases his production down the stretch. As long as he can stay on the floor, Butler could be a sneaky top-20 asset moving forward.
Butler posted 21 points (7-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-9 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal across 40 minutes during Thursday’s 103-97 loss to the Nuggets.
Butler’s consistency despite missing games here and there has been remarkable, and the veteran forward has reached the 20-point mark in nine of his last 10 games without sacrificing his contributions in other categories. Over that 10-game stretch, the star wing is averaging 23.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.2 blocks across 34.8 minutes per contest.
Butler closed with 22 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-9 FT), four rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and four steals in 33 minutes during Tuesday’s 106-96 win over the Trail Blazers.
Butler missed Miami’s previous game while serving a suspension for his role in the altercation between the Heat and Pelicans last Friday. The star forward didn’t miss a beat in his return Tuesday, complementing an efficient scoring line with strong work as a distributor and defender. Butler’s four steals marked a season high, and he fell one assist shy of his fifth double-double of the campaign.
Butler (suspension) is available for Tuesday’s game against the Trail Blazers, Tim Reynolds of Associated Press reports.
Butler and Nikola Jovic will both suit up after serving one-game suspensions Monday for their involvement in an on-court altercation during Friday’s win over the Pelicans. Terry Rozier (knee) is also cleared to make his return following a multi-game absence, while Tyler Herro (knee) remains out. Butler shouldn’t face any limitations versus Portland.
