Vampire Weekend have joined the lineup for Coachella this weekend.
The American rockers are now scheduled to play the Outdoor Theatre stage on Saturday (13.04.24) from 5pm and 5.45pm.
The organisers posted the full schedule for the first weekend of the festival and captioned it: “Vampire Weekend 1.”
Vampire Weekend – who released their latest album, ‘Only God Was Above Us’, last week – previously played the world-famous music festival in Indio, California, in 2008, 2010, and 2013.
They’ve yet to confirm if the New York band will play the festival the following weekend.
Coachella returns to the Empire Polo Club on April 12 to 14 and April 19 to 21.
Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator and Doja Cat are the headliners.
Peso Pluma, DJ Peggy Gou, Sabrina Carpenter, Tyla, and more are set to play the two Fridays.
Joining Tyler, The Creator on the Saturdays will be Britpop legends Blur, rapper Ice Spice, rising indie group The Last Dinner Party, Grimes, Raye, and many more.
No Doubt are reuniting for their first show together in nine years at the extravaganza.
And Doja will be joined by the likes of J Balvin, Lil Yachty, Renee Rap, Bebe Rexha, Victoria Money, and BICEP on both Sundays.
The 2022 edition of the popular music extravaganza was thrown into chaos when Frank Ocean cancelled his second headline show due to injury.
Bizarrely, Blink-182, Skrillex, Four Tet, and Fred Again were his replacements.
