CHICO, Calif. – The mood of Downtown Chico business owners is currently mixed, according to a recent survey that reveals over 29% are dissatisfied with the current business environment.
This afternoon, the Chico City Council will review the findings of a comprehensive report that highlights the challenges facing local businesses in the downtown area.
The survey included in the report shows that more than 29% of business owners describe the downtown business climate as either negative or very negative. A significant portion, 62%, say they view the environment as neutral, while only about 8% consider it positive.
