The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS⁴) at The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) is pleased to announce the 2025 National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition, in conjunction with title sponsor CSA360 Software. The event will take place June 30-July 2, 2025, at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas.
The 2025 conference theme, “Setting the Standard,” focuses on defining and implementing the highest levels of safety and security practices for sports and special events. This year’s conference seeks to inspire a proactive approach to advancing safety and security programs by integrating people, processes and technology. Attendees will explore how to create a culture of safety, build trust with stakeholders, and respond effectively to emerging threats while striving to set a new standard for excellence in safety and security.
“The annual NCS4 conference provides industry professionals an opportunity to discuss and analyze current security concerns, best practices, view cutting-edge industry-related technology, and creates an environment that facilitates meaningful conversation to anticipate future needs that proactively change the trajectory of sports security to continue to ensure the safety of our venues,” said Rick Fenton, CSSP, vice president and chief security officer at Ilitch Holdings, Inc., and co-chair of the NCS4 National Advisory Board.
NCS⁴ is excited to have CSA360 Software as the event’s title sponsor. Founded by a veteran security professional, CSA360 Software is the only all-in-one venue management platform addressing needs such as incident management, scheduling, timekeeping, and work order management. With powerful real-time analytics and seamless communication tools, CSA360 empowers employees with enhanced software to improve collaboration, efficiency, and decision-making.
“NCS4 is one of the leading conferences dedicated exclusively to the security of arenas and stadiums. With top-tier programming, it delivers exceptional value to both attendees and vendors, making it a must-attend event for industry professionals,” said Tony Unfried, chief executive officer at CSA360. “Beyond the conference itself, NCS4’s ongoing commitment to advancing safety and security throughout the year is invaluable to the industry.”
This premier event will bring together industry leaders, security professionals, and key stakeholders dedicated to enhancing the safety and security of sports and entertainment venues. Attendees will include representatives from professional sports, intercollegiate athletics, interscholastic athletics, marathon and endurance events, sports and entertainment facilities, law enforcement, emergency management, and providers of safety and security products and services.
The conference will feature keynote presentations from top security experts, interactive panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and an exhibition hall showcasing the latest security technologies and services.
