The land sale was a decade ago, with the MUP issued in 2020.
Five years ago, two old houses were razed on west Capitol Hill. About the same time, a master use permit was issued for a four- to five-story replacement building, with 46 apartments, designed by Studio19 Architects. The land sale for the sloping corner site came back in 2015, when it traded to a local investor for about $2.1 million.
